New Representatives of the DINI Welcome Team

The doctoral students’ initiative at Helmholtz Zentrum München (DINI) together with the support of the Graduate Students Office is happy to announce Tamara Durovic (ISF) and Dennis Rußkamp (IAF) as new representatives of the DINI Welcome Team.

The Welcome Team is a contact point for all graduate students who are new at the Center and helps them to settle in their new life at the Center and also in Munich.

"We are very happy to support all new students who have the same problems we were struggling with at the beginning of our Graduate studies. Especially me, since I moved here from Serbia can relate to all the challenges a new city or country can pose." - says Tamara. Dennis is from Germany, therefore he is familiar with the system and a lot of necessary local information. He adds:  "When I started my PhD I really appreciated the support the Welcome Team offered to new doctoral students regarding bureaucratic processes, enrolment at the University and life in Munich. Now I enjoy helping new students in the very same position."

All new graduate students will receive an introductory email from the Team once - please do not hesitate to get in touch with them.

Moreover, you can always contact the Team with questions and help offers - just write an email to DINI.Welcome.Team(at)helmholtz-muenchen.de.
